Oaxaca, pronounced wah··ha-cah, is a  Spanish Colonial City founded in the 1520’s and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is  Mexico’s richest center for arts and culture.
 
According to Condé Nast, this “southern Mexican city conceals an intricate—almost mysterious—blend of food, crafts, and history behind its brightly painted facades.”
