James Bae, a spiritual medium and healer, has carried a profound connection with the Spirit World since childhood. His journey into the realms of Spiritualism began as a response to the profound loss of loved ones, which ignited a deep curiosity and a search for meaning in the unseen. James embarked on a transformative path, culminating in his studies at England's renowned Arthur Findlay College since 2013, where he honed his abilities and understanding of the spiritual realm.

Charlyn Spitzer, is a Psychic Medium who has demonstrated mediumship in Spiritualist Churches in the Bay area on international Radio and is also an artist who uses automatic spirit writing as a medium of her art.
She has worked as a medium for over ten years, helping to bring healing and messages from those persons who have passed on from this world. Her ability to communicate evidential messages with love, humor, and proof of survival of the personality beyond the change called death has helped to heal and change the lives of many recipients of her spirit communications.

Susan Hazard, NSAC Certified Medium with twenty-five years experience, is a member and vice-president of the Board of Trustees of the Golden Gate Spiritualist Church in San Francisco.

Susan Barth is a member of and Pastoral Committee at the Center for Spiritual Enlightenment Spiritualist Church in Virginia. Susan discovered Spiritualism in 1996 through a meditation class. She served as a chairperson, healer, and speaker teaching membership classes for over 20 years.
Susan finished Morris Pratt Institute class (MPI), Pastoral Skills course, and currently studying for Ordained Minister. She is a retired Foreign Service with many experiences overseas which made it clear there's an invisible force guiding our choices. As a lifelong liberal-scientific-atheist-agnostic, Susan was fairly certain there was no value in religion or God - until a career change. Within 18 months, she required invisible intervention.

Sheila Medina is a Religious Science Practitioner and has been initiated as a Deeksha Healer at Oneness University. She has experience as a group facilitator working with both Progress Foundation and Baker Places as a counselor in San Francisco. She has been serving as a medium, healer and speaker at Golden Gate Spiritualist Church for the past 18 years.
She also has been a guest medium and speaker at Celebrate Life Progressive Spiritualist Community since its inception in 2007. Sheila led a similar mediumship development circle in her home for several years with many participants attending regularly. Eva Vega discovered Spiritualism in the spring of 2016. She has a BA in Business Economics, an M.Ed in Montessori Education and is the owner of a Montessori home-based Childcare for

Wanda Whitaker - "Originally from Washington, DC, as a young child I always loved to draw. When I was in church, as the minister preached and the choir sang, I would be drawing. My mother noticed my interest and placed me in community art classes which took me on visits to the local galleries such as the National Gallery of Art and the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. Later I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland, College Park where I majored in Radio, Television and Film and minored in Art Studio. It was not until 1983 when I moved to San Francisco, California that I started painting on canvas and until 2007, art was an up and down pursuit.
Today, it is my vocation and my work has evolved with exhibitions in galleries, yoga studios, cafes and restaurants, etc, throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond as well as purchased and placed in private homes. The Rev. DeeDee Freeman is an Ordained NSAC Spiritualist Minister, Teacher, and Healer. She has been a student of the Metaphysical Arts for over 25 years and regularly serves at Mystical Spiritualist Church in Prescott AZ, and Church of the Living Spirit, NSAC in Phoenix AZ. She also teaches classes related to Spiritualism at Yavapai College in Prescott AZ, and holds private spiritual development workshops to help people develop their intuitive abilities. In 2019, Mary Tang unexpectedly found herself at Celebrate Life! For many years, she had tried to look for a spiritual community that resonated with her. Carolyn Allsopp, is a medium from England who has been involved with spiritualism for over 30 years. She studied with the Spiritualist National Union, SNU, in England and gained her CSNU in speaking and demonstrating mediumship. She is also an approved healer.
Carolyn’s mediumship also evolved into a deep trance and transfiguration medium. She continues to serve Spiritualist churches and centers in the U.K., along with her private reading work.

Helena Smith who is an English medium based in the UK with many years experience of serving spirit. We are happy to have Helena with us at Celebrate Life.

Sandra Lloyd specializes in Hypnotherapy, Depth Hypnosis, Shamanism, Buddhist Psychology and Energy Medicine. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology. Michael Franklin was raised in England, where he spent several years on the family estate of the first Scottish king of England, James Charles Stuart. He served as a U.S. Army Intelligence Officer, and went on to spend twelve years a licensed investigator and close personal protection agent. When he met the love of his life, Mary Jessamy, he chose to change careers and settle in San Francisco, working in real estate development and property management.
Michael has been a High Church Anglican, a Catholic, an Episcopalian, a Druid, a New Age church member and a Spiritualist. With Spiritualism he has found a home, serving at Golden Gate Spiritualist Church in many capacities including board treasurer, spiritual healer, devotional service chairperson and inspired speaker.
If anyone asks him where his passion lies, he is quick to reply “Nothing I do feels as good to me as Spiritual Healing”!

Dave Haddick, President of the Golden Gate Spiritualist Church (GGSC) Board of Trustees, is a fourth generation Spiritualist. Moving to San Francisco in 1929, his grandfather joined GGSC and served as an NSAC Commissioned Healer for 23 years. Dave’s parents met at church; his mother was a member for 71 years, and his father was Pastor from 1980 to 2002.
Dave grew up attending the Lyceum (Sunday School) at a time when there was at least 20 children in attendance. In addition to receiving a well grounded education in Spiritualism, the children also learned how to run the church board. Dave attended one Lyceum class with the founder of GGSC, Florence Becker, which was to be her last class before she transitioned in 1970, and he has been faithfully serving Spiritualism and GGSC ever since.
